Hey Everyone, so I know I don't post very much, ooooor ever more or less, but I'm enraged by our stupid governor. He's trying to cut finding for the CA High Speed Rail in the 08' Budget. If you're friends with me on facebook I just joined a group that is trying to recify this, join it too!!! Also here is an article on the situation.

I think we should all call our state reps and senators and complain about this, tell them you support the CA High Speed Rail and funding it fully. You can go to this website and it'll tell you your senators and reps phone numbers

It's actually really cool because when you call you get to talk to an actual person, at least for San Diego, which is amazing I think. Anyways, just wanted to put this out there, it angers me, I think having a CA High Speed Rail would be a really good thing for the people.

Since I'm here I'll say some other stuff. My Grandma and cousin have been staying here for like two weeks, they left this morning, thank god. Ian (my cousin) is the most annoying creature on the planet, he's noisy, nosey, and a homophobic redneck (they're from Indiana). So that's all fun. Hilary is making me an amazing bag so we're probably going to go to a fabric store today to pick out some stuff, I'm excited about that obviously. Aaaaand I'm working at Vons, so that's a barrel of laughs. At the Deli. *shivers* But I guess I should get used to it, future here I come! lol

The entry is really short so you guys should read it, but basically this renowned professor gets questioned and is put on the Terrorist Watch List, seemingly because he gave a lecture critical of the president, definitely read it, it's scary.

well by this time tomorrow I will be on a plane bound for LA, yay! Also I bought an amazing jacket and hat today, they are as fun as they were ridiculously expensive, heh. I think I enjoy Japanese fashion very much. Stupid America with its boring male clothing, look to Japan and know that it need not be so!

so I just lost my housing. The stupid fucker I was going to replace decided to stay in SB because he needs to fulfill some GEs or something. So now I'm homeless, I'm going to call housing and see if there are any dorms available. So BEST case scenario I am going to be living in the fucking expensive shitty dorms. I don't see how I can possibly get an apartment this late in the game. There are a couple people I'm going to contact just to make sure. Including the guy who has "anti-semetic" in his religious preferences, dear god.

well I couldn't sleep last night and wont be able to tonight either because one of the people rooming with me in this hostel has INTENSE sleep apnea. His snoring is so loud I complained about it with two people during and after the first night. It's totally ridiculous. I'm sorry but if your snoring is that bad, well first you should go to the doctor because sleep apnea can be dangerous, and second you should not be booking rooms in hostels with multiple people. Be freaking considerate you asshole. It might sound harsh but you're making other people's travel experience much more difficult. I know I should have earplugs but I guess I haven't found the time to buy any yet. I went to a convenience store nearby and they didn't have any, so I'm not sure where to go. On the other hand one of the people I talked to said he used ear plugs and those didn't even work, so who knows how much good it would do. Oh also the toom stunk terribly last night. Tonight it's fine, so I'm pretty sure someone in their was stinking the place up. For God's sake people, BATHE! I mean I personally think my standards for accomidations are pretty low, and thus when places don't meet them, I am not happy. In the hostel's defense I don't think any of the difficulties I had were their fault, the hostel itself is actually new and pretty nice.
Anyways that's what I had to complain about, I'm in Fukuoka, the closest Japanese city to South Korea. Ugh, being sleep-deprived while doing touristy stuff just makes it all so much less enjoyable, stupid ogre with nasal passage issues. On the bright side I got a new scarf today, so yay!

So I thought I should take this opportunity to tell everyone I'm coming back to SB for Spring 07. I still don't have housing but hopefully that'll get worked out soon. Otherwise most things are ready set to go. I have a lot of reasons I guess, but basically I'm not happy and the whole Japanese thing isn't working out, a lot like I suspected when I first got here. But in any case, I'm glad I'm coming back. So I guess I'll see some of you soon :]
